1. The Golden Rule of Enlisted: An Engineer in Every Squad
Matches in Enlisted are decided by reinforcement proximity and ticket economy. Default spawn zones sit 130 to 160 meters behind the active capture point, forcing infantry to cross open machine-gun kill zones. Unlocking the Engineer slot as your very first squad upgrade in every Assaulter, Machine Gunner, and Radio Operator squad allows you to construct forward Rally Points 50 to 60 meters from the objective—cutting squad travel time by 65%.
2. Battle Rating (BR) Matchmaking Brackets: BR I–II vs. BR III–V
Enlisted’s unified matchmaking inspects the single highest Battle Rating weapon or vehicle equipped across all your active squads. Equipping even one BR IV semi-automatic rifle inside an otherwise BR I bolt-action lineup pulls your entire roster into top-tier BR V lobbies against King Tigers, IS-2s, and fully automatic assault rifles. Keep a pure BR II preset for tactical bolt-action/early-war tank play, and only step up to BR III or BR V once your entire squad roster is upgraded to match.
3. Ordering AI Squadmates Under Cover (`X` Key / Hold Command)
If you sprint directly into a capture building with your full 7-man squad following in default formation, your AI soldiers will congregate in doorways and get wiped by a single explosive pack. Instead, press X (Individual/Context Command) to park your AI squad behind a solid stone wall or basement 25 meters back, then push into the room with your active soldier. When you fall, you can immediately hot-swap into the next surviving soldier right outside the point.
4. Defeating Heavy Armor: Explosive Packs, TNT Charges & Periscope Blind Spots
Standard frag grenades cannot penetrate tank hulls. Equip every infantry soldier with an Explosive Pack or anti-tank mine. When throwing an Explosive Pack at an enemy tank, hold the throw button for 2.5 seconds to cook the fuse so the bundle detonates the instant it lands on the thinner 15mm–25mm engine deck armor behind the turret—igniting the fuel tanks and detonating the hull ammunition rack.
